Update #001 - It's not pretty, but it will be!

Just a quick update, the head basemesh is done and I'll take it in to Zbrush for further sculpting :)

Starting a big project...

So this is mainly the reason for starting this blog... I'm currently working on a feature so I'm spending my days animating and after two weeks I realised that I needed something on the side. So...what?
I'm always starting up these small 10 sec animation tests that I rarely finish, and if I finish them, I'm always a bit unimpressed by the result. There's nothing...there! Hopefully that makes sense..

So I want to take on something big, something that will mean something. A short film would be way to much, but I think I've found a nice middleground. And here it is!

I found this awesome design after Googling for about 10 minutes, and I instantly fell in love with it! I can't remember the artist but I'll make sure to find that out soon so he or she can get proper credit. Here is a link to his website: http://gennaromorra.blogspot.se/
Anywho, I will model this lovely chap, and then rig and animate him.
I've always wanted "my own" rig and I will finally make one. This is something I've wanted to do for a long time, so it's time to stop talking and start doing!

And since my track record of completing project is not the greatest, I started this blog to keep me motivated!

Anywho, talk to you soon!
